    rooftop terrace
    delicious breakfast assortment
    central location
    unreliable internet

El Hotel De Su Merced is located in the city center, just a few minutes from attractions like plaza Simon Bolívar. The rooftop terrace provides a stunning 360-degree view of the city, while the breakfast room offers a delightful assortment of cakes and pastries alongside traditional eggs and ham, creating a memorable start to the day.

The internet connection could be unreliable at times.

    charming architecture
    street noise
    outdated amenities

Charming colonial architecture with a lovely courtyard.

While I enjoyed the unique character of this old building, the street noise was really disruptive during my stay. The rustic nature of the rooms was more of a drawback than a charm, as they felt a bit outdated. Additionally, the lack of modern amenities was frustrating, especially for the price paid.

    spacious room
    comfy bed
    big windows
    noisy fan
    chilly bathroom

The junior suite was super spacious and clean, bunch of natural light with those big windows. Super comfy bed, and I slept really well! The decor felt a bit old-school, which some might not dig, but I thought it added character. Just a heads up, the bathroom fan was noisy and kinda annoying, and it could get a bit chilly since it's open to the street. But overall, a good stay!

    charming suites
    beautiful courtyards
    outdated amenities

charming atmosphere but needs some modern upgrades

This colonial hotel offered a spacious junior suite with charming views over the rooftops. The courtyards were beautifully maintained, providing a serene escape from the city bustle. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a variety of fresh options, including delicious pastries that truly elevated the morning experience. I particularly enjoyed the garden view, which added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance.

The rustic appeal of the building also came with some outdated features, which felt less accommodating.

    limited parking

I had a delightful stay at El Hotel De Su Merced, appreciating the charming colonial architecture and the beautiful courtyard filled with flowers. stunning view

    Couple seeking charm and comfort

The hotel was lovely a true hidden gem in Sucre. We had a beautiful view from our upper room overlooking the courtyard filled with plants making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was a treat with all kinds of goodies available including the best lemon pie I've ever tasted.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but for the quality offered it was worth it.
